The difference between deep and shallow.

Simple people can be deep and profound, accumulating wonderful insights. Whilst certain smart people can be so shallow accumulating foolish notions.

A folklorish approach to certain matters might be more entertaining and maybe even more intuitive, but a deeper approach is needed to get to the truth.
